Alfred, Arveprins af Sachsen-Coburg og Gotha (Alfred Alexander William Ernest Albert; indtil sin fars tronbestigelse kendt som Prins Alfred af Edinburgh; 15. oktober 1874 – 6. februar 1899), var en britisk–tysk prins, der var den eneste søn af Hertug Alfred af Sachsen-Coburg og Gotha og tronfølger til det tyske dobbelthertugdømme Sachsen-Coburg og Gotha. Han døde som 24-årig under omstændigheder, der fortsat ikke er fuldstændig klarlagt.
Arveprins Alfred var fætter til Kejser Wilhelm 2. af Tyskland, Dronning Sophie af Grækenland, Kong Georg 5. af Storbritannien, Dronning Maud af Norge, Kejserinde Aleksandra Fjodorovna af Rusland, Kronprinsesse Margareta af Sverige, Dronning Victoria Eugenie af Spanien og Kejser Nikolaj 2. af Rusland.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Oct. 14. The election in Indiana has proved to be a perfect Waterloo for the Republicans. The returns received before midnight last night give no indications of the completeness of the defeat, and as the later dispatches became known and especially when the news from the counties of a semi-official character came pouring in today, the Republicans were perfectly overwhelmed and the Democracy could hardly realize the victory they had achieved.
